"Why GEEK WORLD LIVING?", you ask. Well, it is my world. It's the place where intelligence, passion and creativity meet in one person. Geekiness was once considered a liability, but as of late it seems, Geek=Chic. So go Geek!
My living and hobbies grow from the roots of the same tree. Computers, photography, nature, travel and writing are the biggest branches of the tree and have continually sprouted a bountiful supply of interests for my intellectual, creative and livelihood needs.
The word 'geek' means different things in different circles, of course. For me, geeks value process as much as product. And while geekiness often involves interest in technology, it's bigger than that.
The geek life is a way of being that pervades one's whole life; computers, cooking, eating, gardening, raising pets, nature, photography are all approached with a mindset that focuses on exploration. Of course, the destination matters too but only alongside a meaningful attention to the journey. The Wikipedia has a pretty good conversation going about what it is to be a geek.
